There are regularly situations where, despite our best efforts and their best intentions, clients simply “resist” change and
These challenges are often very frustrating and disheartening to both clients and coaches.
This is when we need new tools and perspectives to support these clients.
Parts work (inspired by Internal Family System – IFS) offers an easy to understand model and clear steps to work with these challenges.
Our clients do want to grow and change.
But there often are specific Parts that are scared or worried
and actively work against the change.
If we can work with these Parts, get them to relax and invite them into the team towards change we can suddenly facilitate change that was impossible 10 minutes ago.
Parts work is so popular, because it offers an complete toolkit to compassionately, effectively and directly work with the Parts that are holding us back, because they are:
And by acknowledging them, connecting with them and then skillfully working directly with them (rather than just trying to change the beliefs and emotions they are carrying) we can enable deep transformation and alignment in our clients. This results in a much deeper self-awareness and self-acceptance as well as an alignment between our Self and Parts.
It teaches you simple tools, exercises and questions you can use in your regular sessions to help clients transform their own Parts, using the following steps:

My name is Lucas Forstmeyer. most of you probably know me for my Youtube videos and PDFs covering the Internal Family System.
I am trained in IFS, different meditation practices and body-based therapy, and have been leading Parts Work Courses for the last 4 years.
My background includes studying Psychology, training with a Sufi-Teacher and co-teaching the Holistic-Bodywork.org trainings that teaches bodyworkers how to work with Developmental Trauma (amongst many other things!)
I am truly excited about this training, because I see the positive impact this IFS-inspired form of Parts Work has on how coaches work – and thus their clients’ lives.
Speaking from personal experience, I can see how these tools have helped me to:
It has changed my practice and I have seen it change the practice of many people who have participated in my courses.
My biggest hope is that more humans can benefit from these wonderful tools and walk this earth with more presence, compassion and personal power.
This course is designed to be as impactful as possible.
For that it focuses on a few core elements,
to help you learn and integrate Parts Work
into your current practice:
My approach emphasises simplicity, clarity and empowerment.
Starting to work with Parts can sometimes feel a bit “Woo-Woo” and weird, especially when you are just getting started.
My goal is to make this step as simple and playful as possible.
For that I use lots of drawings in my materials to help you get the core of the teaching as easily as possible and for you to apply them in your unique way in sessions.
(Should money be an issue, please reach out to me)
Please note:
You will need to invest time and energy for this course. You cannot expect to learn these tools and reap the benefits without practicing, studying and contemplating what we are doing in this course.
